You control the door. We publish the kind of entry a bar has, not the password. If you would rather we described less than that, claiming the listing is how you tell us. It is the only lever, and it costs nothing.
The date is the thing that sends people. Most guides to hidden bars are years stale, and readers have learned to distrust them. A listing with a recent verification date is the one somebody acts on.
The details are yours. Hours, reservation link, dress code, accessibility, what you actually pour. We would rather have it from you than from a scrape.
Ownership confirmed, details corrected, verified badge, and a fresh last-checked date.
Photographs, your own description, hours, cocktail list, socials, reservation link, events, and control over your entrance detail.
Everything above, plus featured placement across your city, state and search, homepage rotation, and a newsletter slot.
Worth saying plainly, because it is what makes the rest of the site worth being listed on.
Payment does not buy a verification badge, a last-checked date, inclusion in an editorial selection, removal of a factual correction, removal of a closure report, or the suppression of another bar. Paid placement is always labelled Featured or Sponsored. A claim is verified by a person before any badge appears, paid or not.
The directory is built from open data, which is good at finding bars with a website and poor at finding the ones that genuinely keep their heads down. If you are missing, tell us. If you would rather not be listed, tell us that too — we will honour it.
