Hidden doors. Extraordinary nights.
Add to the directory
The directory is built from open data, which is good at finding bars that have a website and poor at finding the ones that genuinely keep their heads down. If you know one, tell us. Everything submitted is verified by a person before it is published.
| Name and city | Enough to find it. |
|---|---|
| Where it is | Street address, or the nearest corner if that is all you have. |
| How you get in | The kind of door — password, reservation, unmarked, through another business. Not the password. |
| Its own channel | Website or social account, if it has one. |
| How you know | Customer, staff, owner, press. We weigh submissions differently depending on this. |
A submission creates an unconfirmed draft. It stays out of search, archives and the sitemap until a person has checked it against the venue’s own channel. We would rather have a smaller directory that is right than a bigger one that sends people to a door that closed last year.
Then it will not be. Some places genuinely do not want the traffic, and that is a legitimate choice. If you run a venue and you would rather we left it alone, tell us and we will honour it — and we will not quietly relist it six months later.
