Help us stay honest

Has something closed?

Tell us and we will mark it the same day. A credible closure report sets the listing to reported closed and the page says so immediately — before we have confirmed it. Being fast and honest beats being certain and late when somebody is deciding whether to cross town.

What is worth reporting

You don't need to be the owner

Most of our best closure reports come from people who just turned up and found a locked door. That is the most useful thing anyone can tell us, and it takes about thirty seconds.

Every guide to hidden bars has the same problem: the lists go stale and nobody updates them. The date on each of our listings is only as good as the reports behind it.

What we do with it

Reports are read by a person. A credible one sets the listing to reported closed within a day, and the page shows that state publicly while we confirm. Once confirmed it moves to permanently closed and is kept as a historic record — the page stays, but the venue stops appearing anywhere we suggest you go.
